Mammoths back to life!
The Plot
After their local village gets attacked, a man and this men must go to stop an evil tribe and rescue the girl he loves.
The Good
The visuals were amazing, with the exception of the saber-tooth tiger (very detailed, but never looked real). The best example are the woolly mamoths, who in the first scene or two actually looked real. And the sets are very well done.
The Bad
Just about everything I didn't mention in the last part. The acting, crumpy. The plot, lousy and copied (Apolcalypto). The dialouge, laughable. And many more things that would take a very long time to explain. Now, I did come into this movie open minded. I liked The Day After Tommorrow and Independence Day. But, there is no way I could like this movie, period.
Overall
Just like 75% perect of blockbusters out there, it will razzle-dazzle you with great special effects. But will come empty handed in everything else. Watch Apolcalypto instead, it's the same plot.
